hi alberto,

shame on me, until this day i still haven't use a debian b4. :(
pardon me, cos i'm not familiar with debian platform. but i notice 
in the error, the PCI card seems not to be able to get a IRQ.
is that the pci-pcmcia adaptor card? you may want to iron that out 
first.

check the bios for any irq issues.
i've encountered using that adaptor card on a compaq old machine 
which those eisa-pci bridge bus and the adaptor card failed to work.
