P2P not working on Ralink RT5370 USB dongles

Hi,

I'm trying to connect my tablet and raspberry pi over WiFi Direct. The
tablet supports WiFi P2P and my usb dongle advertises support for P2P
client and GO modes according to iw list yet issuing a p2p_find command via
wpa_cli returns immediately with "FAIL".

Currently running wpa_supplicant v2.0 on linux 3.11; wifi dongle uses the
rt2800usb driver.

Any support to get this working would be greatly appreciated.
