not able to connect to local wireless with wpa_supplicant

asus wl500g with openwrt.
after a little while i tried again and it worked without giving that output.

if you have a look in the log then it tries to associate with an ap with
bssid 00:18:84:1d:83:fa but this is not my ap with ssid "OpenWrt"

so since it also worked at my workplace it seems that this bug does only
occur should the ap with bssid 00:18:84:1d:83:fa be in range because now
that it works the ap with said bssid doesnt show up in iwlist anymore.

might be but it worked before using wicd and before that using
networkmanager.
