firmware documentation.

Hi,
thank you for your answer, but I do not intend to change the firmware of the 
card, I just want to understand it so that I can modify the driver in the most 
appropriate way.
Again, if there is anybody with the necessary documentation, or that knows where 
I could get it from, I would appreciate it very much. Also docs about general 
driver writing issues would be great.
