I've re-run the tests with 2.4 kernel and I was unable to re-produce any of the problems I encountered with the 2.2 kernel, so it seems like there's something seriously wrong with the 2.2 compatibility.. Ofcourse this is unrelevent as the 2.2 support will be dropped soon.
