hostap doesn't understand wireless commands

	This is puzzling, I've never seen a case where some ioctl
works and some don't. I would expect that you can't set the channel in
managed mode, but it should report it.
	Can you report the full output of iwconfig ?
	I hope Jouni has some insight.
