[VPN] Help please

I have recently joined the group and I am interested in the costs of
different approaches to acquiring VPN (or VPN services) and how those might
vary with the number of members of any given network.

Does anyone have anything on the subject? Anywhere I could get a fast
introduction to VPN economics?
