Honestly I haven't done much troubleshooting yet but the server is not
multi-homed. I will try netmon, thanks for the tip and thanks to
everyone who have been replying!

I've been reading about the Snapgear products and they do sound
impressive, do you have experience with them?

Snapgear have a great range of VPN router/firewalls.
http://www.snapgear.com
These will accept both IPSec and PPTP connections. I think they are
better
priced than the competitors and are a real pleasure to use. They run
embedded linux and the snapgear support is very helpful (if you need
it).

What sort of client do you have for your W2K IPSec? Some things that
can
get in the way are NAT, firewalls, the keys. Use the netmon pack
sniffing
tool from the win2K CD and check if your win 2k server is actually
receiving
traffic. I seem to recall someone had trouble with a multi-homed NIC,
but
that could have been for something else. What exactly happens when you
try
to connect?
