[vpn] PPTP connections WinNT

I have been perusing the postings to this group for a while and have enjoyed
the technical issues that flow through it. What I now have is a seemingly
simpler question.

I have been successfully running a simple VPN (combination of dial up and
LAN-to-LAN) on an NT box for a while now, but I need to open up the number
of simulataneous PPTP sessions that run on the NT box. The Barricade router
that I have in front of the NT box that clients connect to I have discovered
is only capable of handling one PPTP session per server at a time (8 total
sessions so long as they are to different servers). Does anyone know why
that is? If it is a routing limitation in general is there an easy way
around the problem? Are there routers out there that are capable of
handling multiple connections to the same server at the same time?

Thanks.
