[vpn] Beginner question

What do I need hardware wise to initiate a VPN.  I have a 10 station windows
98 and Win2000pro mixture.
I just had a T1 line installed at the Corporate side.
What do I need at corporate and what do I need at the branch.
I also want to go out to individual customers and collect information from
them.
I am planning to install a  win2K server at corporate.  Any guidence would
be appreciated.
