Dynamic (DIAL) IP using CISCO Concentrator

Has anyone ever tried a LAN to LAN VPN using a narrowband device like a modem,
in front of a say Cisco VPN concentrator? I am thinking something like this:


LAN|CISCO CONCENTRATOR |----MODEM----->CLOUD<----CONCENTRATOR|LAN

Any reason this would not work?
