Novell login script processing with VPNs

Short answer is "yes".

The main advantage of L2TP, (or L2F, PPTP) over IPsec is support for other
protocols.

Same issues as for classic RAS - the equipment running the tunnel end points
need to support IPX - nearly all stuff for this application do, but if you
use a service provider you need to check they will let you use it.
