Help with FW-1 and Cisco 3000 VPN Client

I am very curious to know how you configured the 3000
VPN client. It talks to the Altiga/cisco3000
concentrator to get the VPn policy. so if you
configure it against FW-1 where will it get its policy
information?
If you are talking about IRE/Cisco client then it is
it different than Cisco 3000 client and can be
configured separately as a VPN client like PGP client
or so.
Can you configure altiga/3000 client like that??
