VPN Tunnel with No Data

  We've seen something very like this.  (We've used clients 1.2.6 and 2.2,
never 2.1.)

  On the PCs where it was most recently reproducible, DNE was connecting to
a NIC that wasn't present.  [This particular machine is used with a docking
station, and the Altiga client may have been installed while docked even
though it is only ever used when not docked.  So the adaptor in question was
not part of the current hardware profile.]

I use an Altiga C-20 with Client 2.1 on a Windows NT 4.0 Workstation.  I
established a tunnel with the concentrator; however, no data passed down the
tunnel.  Any thoughts?

The workstation has a NIC and is on an Extranet.  No modem or phone lines
are a part of this RAS VPN Implementation.
