IPX over VPN

A couple more......
1. Use GRE tunnels - the protocol supports depends on the routers at
the end of the tunnels - Nortel and Cisco both support IPX.
2. Use PPTP or another PPP over vpn style protocol set. Again, check
the "tin" you use supports IPX. This is most common for remote clients such
as laptops into central sites. Other varients include L2F and L2TP.
3. Use Novell server tunnels - Netware 3.x and above support IPX
tunnels over IP in the server s/w. Of course, you then need a server at each
end of the link....
A lot of this depends on what you are trying to do - in some cases even if
IPX is supported, the side effects may make using "pure" IP which is the
default choice for a vpn a more attractive option.
