info on hardware and software vpn

Well, basically there is lots of discussion on what is supposed to be
faster, scalable, solid and so on..
I think that hardware VPN's are faster, cuz they got cpu[s] dedicted to
encrypt and decrypt data quite fast.
You do not have to deal with the vulnerabilities of the OS that
VPN runs on top of; Therefore more secure, if you will!.. and of course
stable.

However if you think about it, all of them are software based, the
encryption
and decryption is what gets Harwareized.
