NT client can't access resource

Hi all
I have a PPTP server(Windows NT PPTP) in US.
I can connect using Windows NT server from India but I am unable to access
the resources present in the PPTP server.It says me to provide a user ID and
passwd.When I gave the user ID and passwd of the remote network it is not
accepting.The same goes fine when I try to conenct using windows 95
machine.I am able to access the resource.I have a different domain name on
other side.
