Greetings,

Is anyone looking at outsourced/managed VPNs, either
for site-to-site or for remote access?

What are the Pros and Cons?

I see that outsourcing is becoming quite popular, like
web hosting, email (Critical Path, Mail.com), Apps
(USi, Verio), and others.

ISPs have traditionally offered site-to-site VPNs as a
value-added service on top of their data circuits.
But who is best handling user-based VPNs for remote
access?

A VP from GTE mentioned that to properly offer remote
access VPNs, they'll have to get into the software
distribution business.

Thoughts/comments?

Regards,
Chris
