[osiris] Changing host config file

I have a host (one among many) that is using a generic config file.
I'd now however like to make it use a different config file (which
actually has the same settings) so that I can reduce the generic one
which is producing errors for other hosts that don't have a directory
specified which is really only relevant to this host.
I've created a new config and done
host <Hostname>
push-config <config name>
but if I do
It still shows the default configuration file as the one being used.
How can I change the config file that is used for this host from now on?
I have looked through the whole Osiris Handbook but I'm still not clear.
I think I have to do an init and choose the other config but this will
flatten the baseline will it not?
I'd really like to double check if that is the only way, as it would
effectively destroy the integrity since there is a window for
unauthorized changes to have been made between the last scan and the
re-initialization which would silently become part of the baseline
(although I could do a start-scan and then init in order to try to
minimize this window...)
Am I right in thinking that and init with the new config file is the
only way or am I missing something?
Thanks
