[osiris] unable to push config

I saw a reference to this error previously in the lists, but no
conclusion.
I have just installed osiris-4.2.3-release, on a Sun Sparc running Sol
8.
I am currently only working on the management host, and when attempting
to 
Push the default config when initializing the host get :

Are you sure you want to initialize this host (yes/no): yes

OS Name: SunOS
OS Version: 5.8

use the default configuration for this OS? (yes/no): yes
!! error: unable to push config.

Is this related to Daylight savings time perhaps?  I noticed that when I
specified 
my scan start time I had to use -1 hour to get the start time I actually
wanted..
