For debug purposes, try setting your scan frequency to something much
higher (15 or 30 minutes for example) and kill the client, resetting the
session key.  You should get an email on the next scan the saying the
session key was lost, then on the next scheduled scan it should perform
the actual scan.

This seems like a bug, I'll look at the code and see if I can spot where
it is happening.
