Autonotification is bad :)  I like to be notified about changes...  And
I like that the system persistently tells you "SOMETHING CHANGED,
ACKNOWLEDGE ME!" ...  I just wanted to selectively ignore :)

No biggie.. I can live with it.. It was just a thought :)
