This is the first in a series of "bleeding edge" releases containing
enhancements to the Osiris project. This release contains code that
allows for the monitoring of additional system information, including:

- user account information
- group account information
- loaded kernel modules, extensions, or services.

Future considerations include:

- monitoring open ports (sockets in the LISTEN state).
- monitoring filesystem mount points.
- monitoring kernel state attributes (sysctl flags).
- kernel presence to monitor for specific changes in real-time.

Eventually, as these features become more stable and verified, they
will be merged into the main code tree. Until then, it is not
recommended that these releases be used in a production environment.
Instead, use the 2.x.x-stable releases.
