I know it sucks to add completly new code to a project in beta, however, we 
don't have any formal testing going on, so it's allowed.

scale: flag(s) to tell it to ignore any files considered new or 
missing.  This would be useful mostly for people who are using the default 
databases on an already installed system with lots of additional files that 
would clutter the report file.

good, bad, stupid?
