Hi, I meant wpa_supplicant on a station. I wasn't sure wpa_supplicant could handle the case when an AP switches channel due to radar detection. There should be a channel switch announcement from the AP. Perhaps it is handled by the wi-fi card? Anyway I tested doing channel switching and it seems to be working so I think this answered my question.

Thanks,

Pierre Svärd

fredag 23 januari 2015 skrev Jouni Malinen <j@w1.fi>:

On Thu, Jan 15, 2015 at 09:29:33AM +0100, Pierre Svärd wrote:
What exactly do you mean with this? Are you talking about using
wpa_supplicant to operate an AP (no, need to use hostapd for that when
on DFS channels) or wpa_supplicant on a station (no special
functionality is needed for client functionality, so that works with all
versions)?
