<div>As I know, the 4 digit PIN is random number.</div>
<div>You can pick up any 4 digit for it. The defination in spec only said that</div>
<div>the 4 digit PIN you don't need to verify the last digit.</div>
<div>In 8 digit PIN, it separate the PIN from first 4 digit and second 4 digit.</div>
<div>For 4 digit, it just separate from the fist 2 digit and second 2 digit.</div>

<p class="MsoNormal">From wpa_supplicant 0.8.x code, I could see only 8 digit PIN generation. But as pr my understanding from WPS2.0 spec, both 4 and 8 digit PIN generation MUST be supported. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Can some one please clarify. Also I assumed wpa_supplicant 0.8.x is WPS2.0 compliant.</p>
