We are using hostap to build a <b>multi-hop</b> 802.11b network. We

found that the <b>Cell numbers keep oscillating</b>, even though each

node has the same ESSID, MODE (as Ad-Hoc), and CHANNEL. <br>

<br>

I wonder if there is a way to prevent the Cell numbers from oscillating

while still having the network run in multi-hop ad-hoc mode? Any

suggestions will be of great help and are appreciated.<br>
