<pre>Hello,<br>I am using the current snapshot from the prism54 drivers (not the kernel one).<br>Running hostapd without WPA works without problems.<br><br>The Problem:<br>hostapd with WPA (wpa=1) exits with an errormessage.<br><br>The command:<br>$ hostapd hostapd.conf<br>Configuration file: hostapd.conf<br>Using interface eth2 with hwaddr 00:01:36:0d:c2:ea and ssid 'test'<br>Could not set PrivacyInvoked for interface eth2<br>WPA initialization failed.<br>rmdir[ctrl_interface]: No such file or directory<br>Could not disable PrivacyInvoked for interface eth2<br>$ dmesg|tail -n 3<br>ap_net_ioctl: Ioctls for AP devices are NOT supported in this driver.<br>ap_net_ioctl: Ioctls for AP devices are NOT supported in this driver.<br>ap_net_ioctl: Ioctls for AP devices are NOT supported in this driver.<br><br><br>Are there any activities for hostapd with wpa for prism54 cards?<br>Is there any chance to get this running or should kick away the prism54 card and buy an atheros card?<br></pre>
