<P>This problem has had me stumped for 3 days. I just got a new 200mw<BR>Prism 2.5 card with PCI -> pcmcia card for my router/freebsd box. I<BR>was unable to get any wireless card to connect to the prism card when<BR>in the router/freebsd box with the card in AP mode. So after a day or<BR>two of messing with that I moved the card to my laptop that is also<BR>running FreeBSD. What do you know it works fine in AP mode. So then I<BR>move the card back to the router/freebsd box and boom, its work there<BR>now all of assuden. So I change some of the settings like SSID and<BR>they don't seem to do anything. The client machine stays connected<BR>with the old info. So it seems as if when using the PCI convertor card<BR>it does not let it write to the pcmcia card. Now does anyone have any<BR>idea why this would happen? Here is some info about the router/freebsd<BR>box...</P>
