I had the simmilar problem on Tp-link WR1043ND v2 with OpenWRT (can't
now remember the kernel version). I found out, that traffic appears
after some time or after I reattach the carrier (patch-cord). Using
tcpdump I could see outgoing client's traffic on wireless interface and
bridge interface, but not on the physical interface. I didn't find the
solution yet but you can try may action to find out if your problem is
the same to join with me to find the solution.
