??? I wonder about the RTNETLINK stuff, but at least it *works*. ???
Now, let's change so that wpa_supplicant is involved:
This *will* correctly configure the interface, since wpa_supplicant can
provide the credentials.
But it will *not* execute the 'up' routines.
