Wireless doesn't connect after change MAC address

Thanks for the reply Dan.

Apparently I have the recent version 1.0 (that comes in Ubuntu 12.10). 
The experiment that I was doing was changing MAC address and also 
bonding interface (wlan0 and wlan1) with openvswitch. I uninstalled ovs 
and the wireless NIC starts to work again. Clearly hostap is not the 
problem.
