WLAN stops responding

I'm using 2.6.31-14-generic-pae kernel (from Ubuntu 9.10 server). I
have been installed compat-wireless-2009-12-11, and I guess ath9k is

I'm using Intel WiFI Link 5100 AGN on WIndows XP. Now I have tried
with ap_max_inactivity=3000 and the problem still manifest the same
way.

It seems that the problem isn't in disassociation because of
inactivity. Because when I can't ping hostapd anymore, I can
disassociate and again associate, but that doesn't help. I still can't
ping hostap wireless interface. Only stopping, and again starting of
hostapd, helps.

When I stop and start hostapd, I don't have to re-associate. I
immediately can ping hostapd wireless interface.

I have run hostapd with verbose debugging, and this includes the time
when I was able to ping and the time I'm unable to ping.
