is it correct, that if I use the latest unstable version 0.6.4 and Kernel Version bigger than 2.6.26 the ad-hoc mode should work correctly ?

There's also the mac80211 key clearing issue that I mailed about on
friday and provided patches for too, that should probably be fixed at
the same time.
