hostapd runs with adm8211?

Well, if you are using the mac80211-based adm8211 driver, it could be
possible to start hostapd with it using the nl80211 driver interface.
However, I do not think that the adm8211 driver supports AP mode and as
such, there is not really much point in running hostapd with it.

As far as hardware capabilities are concerned, I do not think the
original adm8211 chip supported AP mode (at least I do not remember
anything pointing towards that when working with the driver long time
ago). The are some claims that adm8211b and adm8211c versions could work
in AP mode, but I don't the Linux driver for them has support for this.
