Hi all,
im struggling all day to get wpa running on my LinuxBox/AP.
Ive tried and compiled many different versions of hostapd (up to 0.6.3)
to different versions of madwifi (madwifi-ng, madwifi-0.9.4,madwifi svn
3456).
All resulting in the same error over and over
First let me list my hardware
*
Hardware*
Supermicro P4SGE (in 1U)
Intel P4 3,2Ghz @ 2,6Ghz (166x16)
2x 1GB DDR333
Intel Corporation 82845G/GL[Brookdale-G]
2x 82540EM Gigabit Ethernet Controller (ETH0+1)
*1x Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5212/AR5213 Multiprotocol
MAC/baseband processor*
2x 80GB Raid 1
3x 500GB Raid 5

*Software *
Linux CentOS 4.6 (2.6.18-53.1.13-SMP)
Loaded Modules
wlan
wlan_ccmp,wlan_wep,wlan_scan_ap,wlan_tkip,wlan_xauth,wlan_scan_sta,ath_rate_sample,ath_pci

/

Before i list my hostapd.con let me clarify up front :
I do not bring wlanconfig up using ath0, but using eth2 (to keep uniform
eth nrs)/
wlanconfig eth2 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode ap

*

hostapd.conf*
bridge=wifi0
# Enable this for standard bridging, leave disabled for netfilter firewalls
interface=eth2
#interface=ath0
driver=madwifi
logger_syslog=-1
logger_syslog_level=2
logger_stdout=-1
logger_stdout_level=2
ctrl_interface=/var/run/hostapd
ctrl_interface_group=0
own_ip_addr=11.0.0.1
macaddr_acl=0
eap_message=hello
#deny_mac_file=/etc/hostapd.deny
#test setting to see if works
auth_algs=1
#eapol_key_index_workaround=0
#eap_server=0
#dump_file=/tmp/hostapd.dump

#wpa_psk=0ddb70b8d4dec9f8d9922b45d0e3d5f6195d4851f51c669e7c05bd7fdf0b618e
wpa_key_mgmt=WPA-PSK WPA-EAP
wpa_pairwise=TKIP CCMP

*The PROBLEM*
Now for the problem itself !
After starting hostapd i can see the wifi AP fine(can even see its
secure) , and even try to connect.
Whenever i proceed to connect it will disconnect after a while (ia 20 sec)

*hostapd output*/ (for -dd output see http://pastebin.org/27857)/

How can guide me through this wifi hell ?
Thnx in advance for all the input
