Huh?  I don't think that's valid.  Either you use 802.1x or you use a
pre-shared key; I'm pretty sure you don't mix them.

Unless this is supposed to be WPA-Enterprise using EAP-PSK?

It found one AP, but didn't think the AP's beacon (or probe response)
matched any of its networks.  It then failed to scan because no networks
were set up in its config file (or if they were set up, they weren't
enabled).

I assume your config file is valid, right?  Can you post it?
