Interesting.. Which version of git are you using? I used quite recent
version (as in 1.5.0) to import the repository and also for pushing it
to the server. I cannot reproduce this segfault.

Hmm.. Can you clone the repository from git://w1.fi/srv/git/hostap.git
without this issue? I don't see any problems in my tests and I don't
really know what to fix or how even if there were something wrong here.
Unless this is more widespread issue, I have no problems with keeping
this as a testbed if someone is interested in fixing git not to crash
here.. Anyway, I made a copy of the current version to
http://w1.fi/hostap-test.git so that the version that triggered segfault

git-fsck did not complain about anything and neither did git-gc. Anyway,
git-gc was now run, so you could re-try cloning this over HTTP to verify
whether that had any affect to the crash.
