Hi,

I am running hostap on a debian/testing system. Recently I upgraded
the kernel from 2.6.12 to the 2.6.17. The hostap modules seem to be
integrated natively into the later kernel version. With the new
kernel, I cannot bring up the wireless interface, and I get the
following messages in my syslog:

Nov 17 16:44:34 rome kernel: hostap_plx: 0.4.4-kernel (Jouni Malinen
<jkmaline at cc.hut.fi>)
Nov 17 16:44:34 rome kernel: ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:00:0c.0[A] ->
GSI 17 (level, low) -> IRQ 209
Nov 17 16:44:34 rome kernel: PLX9052 PCI/PCMCIA adapter:
mem=0xfa010000, plx_io=0x1080, irq=209, pccar
d_io=0x1c00
Nov 17 16:44:34 rome kernel: hostap_plx: CIS: 01 03 00 00 ff 17 ...
Nov 17 16:44:34 rome kernel: hostap_plx: invalid CIS data
Nov 17 16:44:34 rome kernel: Unknown PC Card CIS - not a Prism2/2.5
card?

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Casey
