I'm not aware of any PCMCIA card with 802.11g support.

If Cardbus is OK for you, then Prism54 based cards should be OK (make
sure it's FullMAC cards).  Atheros should work if you are OK with having
a proprietary module.  Broadcom chipset should also work, but you'll
need experimental kernel with devicescape stack from the git repository
at
git://www.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/linville/wireless-2.6.git
