When Linksys switched the v5 to VxWorks they mucked with the amount of memory, 
the flash, or something like that quite a bit. I remember reading that at the 
time the v5 came out OpenWRT didn't work, and in fact Linksys released a 
special version for Linux hackers that was basically a v4 (or whatever was 
the last to work with OpenWRT). I don't know if someone's managed to get 
OpenWRT on a v5 by now but it wasn't looking good there for a while.
