Hi,
I have reinstalled my laptop running Debian Linux with kernel 2.6.10. Before
this reinstall, hostap was working good. Now, I can't receive data with the
wlan0 interface (192.168.2.3 / 255.255.255.240 / 192.168.2.15).
While the ip adres of wlan0 is in the same subnet as the access point
(192.168.2.2), he cannot send data to and receive data from the access point.
From 192.168.2.2 icmp_seq=2 Destination Host Unreachable
From 192.168.2.2 icmp_seq=3 Destination Host Unreachable
From 192.168.2.2 icmp_seq=4 Destination Host Unreachable
Tcpdump on the laptop:
16:27:11.982102 arp who-has 192.168.2.2 tell 192.168.2.3
This continues continue this way
When I use the standard kernel drivers, there are no problems. So it likes a
hostap problem, a configuration problem, or a problem with wlan0. But what?
I don't use any packet filter.
I need hostap for scanning, the kernel driver can't do that.
