A bit of help with hostap?

Hey all, I just downloaded hostap-driver-0.3.5 with a custom built 
kernel 2.4.27

It compiled and installed it without errors (following the instructions 
in the README), but when i tried to run it i get the following:

Any Ideas as to why this is happening? i tried multiple times with 
different versions but it still gives me the same error.
