Well I'll be butched....there was a hostap/hostap_cs.ko inside the
wireless dir.  WEIRD.  Anyway that worked like a champ...nuked that dir
out and all is right in the cosmos

And I'm on the latest hostap-driver 0.4.7 (although I saw 0.5.0 out
today so I'll give that a shot) and pcmciautils-012.  Thanks for the
rapid help!
