Thanks for the reports. I did notice the earlier mail, but haven't so
far had chance of trying to reproduce this problem myself. I do remember
testing WPA successfully on a big-endian system, but I do not remember
whether it was hostapd, wpa_supplicant, or both.

What kind of big-endian system are you using? Gunter reported an issue
on IXP425. This may be something else than endianness though, since ARM
has couple of other differences, too (e.g., in requirements for aligned
read/write and char type).. I did my tests on a PowerPC (8260-based
board) and I'm going to test both hostapd and wpa_supplicant again on
that board.
