Hi all,
I am a beginner and am trying to install hostap driver
for fedora core on my PC.I went through the mailing
list and tried thsese things:
I started with
* cp /boot/config-2.6.5-1.358
/usr/src/linux-2.6.5-1.358/.config
* I ran make in the directory where i have untarred
hostap driver(/home/nikhil/hostap-driver-0.2.4) and I
am getting this error:(Actually the list is huge but i
am cutting it short)

/home/wireless/meghadoot/hostap-driver-0.2.4/driver/modules/hostap_wlan.h:818:
error: storage size of `rx_tasklet' isn't known
/home/wireless/meghadoot/hostap-driver-0.2.4/driver/modules/hostap_wlan.h:819:

known

/home/wireless/meghadoot/hostap-driver-0.2.4/driver/modules/hostap_ap.h:65:

include/linux/proc_fs.h:210: warning:
`create_proc_read_entry' declared `static' but never
defined

make[1]: ***

*If I did only "make menuconfig" instead of copying
the .config file from /boot then the steps "make and
make install" worked but modprobe hostap_plx gave me
an error something like:(I changed KERNELPATH and
modified EXTRAVERSION in tihs case)
    hostap.ko: Invalid module format
    hostap_plx.ko:invalid module format

The wireless card that I am using is prism2 chipset,
US robotics card. Could anyone please help me in this
regard?

thanks
Nikhil
