linux crypto api

hii guys;

i want hostap to use the linux crypto api,any idea on how i can achieve this?i can see in the code
checking if HOSTAP_USE_CRYPTO_API is defined.do i simple add #define HOSTAP_USE_CRYPTO_API at the
top of hostap_crypt_wep.c and recompile the driver or is there a better way of doing this?

also does anyone know of any good documentation on using the linux kernel crypto api?
