iwconfig trouble

my Compaq WL100 is not an usb device is a wireless lan pcmcia card (based
on Intersil Prism chipset). But you surprised me cos when I installed the
linux-wlan-ng driver, in the modules.conf there's something that reminds
an usb device rather than a wireless card!
Anyway

lsmod says:
