your picture's too wide for 80 column display.
client's gateway
192.168.2.x <------------------------------------------> HostAP <-------------------------------------> 192.168.1.1
wireless 192.168.2.2 wireless
192.168.1.2
bridge with two IP
in bridge are wlan0 and eth0

|UTP cable

+------switch------+

192.168.2.1 192.168.1.3
one pc, as proxy, firewall, shaper, dns !!!
Your assignment of IP addresses is 'interesting'.
May I suggest something like this:
client's gateway
.2.x <-------> .2.2 AP .1.2 <----------> .1.1
wireless .3.2 wireless
|UTP cable
|
+------switch------+
| | | |
.3.3 .3.4 ... ...
No bridging. Plain simple sane subnetting.
You need to turn off AP bridging in hostap
so that each AP<->STA link basically works
independently.

Mine does all this and also does www caching, mail and
traffic accounting. So what?
