Hi to all,

I have two PC both runnning RH9 w/ kernel-2.4.22.One
is a K6-2 and the other K7(athlon)..I tried to build
the hostap-0.0.4 driver against the K6-2 and it work
just fine..Then I made an rpm
version(hostap-0.0.4-1.i386.rpm) and tried to install
it to the other PC(K7/athlon).The problem is it did
not load the hostap modules.when i issue the command
'depmod -ae' or 'modprobe hostap_cs', it produces
unresolve symbols..

Does this mean that the modules built for K6-2 can
only be used w/ the same processor/architecure?..I
would appreciate any help you could give.Thanks.
